	Someone asked me what I like best about being single.....I answered that it is the lack of conflict that I enjoy. Peace, I guess. I was wondering how you all would answer. Even in our heart broken state of being without someone we care deeply about, I am sure there are things we can enjoy about the single life.

I have more closet space. I'm not always waiting for him. I'm not relying on someone (who doesn't do what he said he'd do), so I take care of things myself. My back steps were rotting, and he said he'd fix them, but he never did. The week after we broke up, I hired someone to fix them, and they did a MUCH better job than he would have, finished in one day, and it cost me roughly the amount of the present I was planning on buying him for our anniversary.

I like the freedom to do what I want. If I want to work twelve hour days I can, go home have a bowl of cereal and go to bed and not feel guilty or have someone complain about it. I love that I can go to boot camp three times a week and there is no conflict.

1. I don't have to watch any more South Park or Family Guy.
2. His family was rascist against me. I don't have to deal with that anymore.
My favorite thing about being single is that I can do what I want whenever I want. When I was in a relationship, I took a lot of time out for him and I stopped doing the things I loved. I am getting back in to art and I love it.

The best thing about being single is not having to worry about someone else whenever you make a life-changing decision (i.e. quit your job, travel, etc).

Focusing on the GOOD is an awesome spin on it! =)
Here's a few things I thought of:
1. I like having the freedom to do what I want, when I want, without having to worry about giving somebody my "itineary"
2. I can have ice cream, popcorn, chips & salsa for dinner WHENVER I feel like it
3. My cats are ALWAYS happy to see me!!
4. If I see a cute guy in traffic, I can flirt with NO guilt

I love it!
I feel the same way about my freedom. I still am very lonely and lost but I am not chained by anyone.
That's pretty cool really.
I can totally forget sometimes and really enjoy myself hiking or playing tennis or just being with a friend... that's so nice

One of the things I love about being single is my home. It is arranged and decorated for ME. It's beautiful and fun and I didn't have to do it for anybody else's approval. Nobody to say they want the furniture arranged THIS way. I can have as many beautiful pillows on my bed as I want and nobody can complain about "all those damned pillows". My home is my refuge, my security, and I love it.
